Viola in the Distinguished Concerts Orchestra for Distinguished Concerts International New York’s (DCINY) inaugural concert — A Tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr.: The Music of Karl Jenkins — at Carnegie Hall’s Isaac Stern Auditorium, conducted by Music Director Jonathan Griffith. The program included the world premiere of Hymn — In Memoriam: Martin Luther King, Jr. (with recorded excerpts of Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream,” read by Walter Cronkite) and the U.S. premiere of The Armed Man Film, with soloists Lori Singer (cello), Pamela Hinchman, Tracy Watson, William Watson, and Ricardo Herrera.
