Sham El Nessim at Monkeytown

Sham El Nessim — the improvising sound-art trio of Dru Barnes (treated, spinning vinyl), Tim Rusterholz (generative computer tones mapped to projected color, and cello), and Brian Lindgren (viola) — at Monkeytown, a cube-shaped room ringed by four massive projection screens. The performance, Lass Es Fallen, faces a vast wall of sound and lets it fall piece by piece toward silence — the old structures collapsing to make space for a new awakening.
