A solo set on the EV — Brian Lindgren’s custom digital-acoustic string instrument, combining bowed string playing with real-time digital synthesis, neural-network AI, and immersive spatial sound (“a computer disguised as fine lutherie,” Popular Science) — performed live at The Stage at WTJU and broadcast on WTJU 91.1 FM as part of the station’s Third Rail series.
The performance was a farewell set before Lindgren’s relocation out of state, following his time co-hosting WTJU’s late-night Electronic Explorations program.
